Charlotte Pou Hopes for 2E4 - Part 1

It was disappointing to hear from some of you after the level assembly that 2E4 did not perform up to expectations in terms of the Term Test results. I believe my sentiments would reflect that of all your subject teachers.

We want the best for all of you so that you will be able to weave and cast ...a wider net at the end of this year, rather than have limited subject combi choices because of a moment of folly, distractions and incorrectly placed priorities.

As teachers, we can only coach and guide you. But the yearn to do well and the push to excel has to come from within you.

Look far and plan ahead. Do not allow yourself any opportunity to regret your actions or decisions just for the sake of short term satisfaction.

Mental strength and determination can be developed. Do not underestimate yourself and be satisfied by the minimal.

Charlotte Pou Hopes for Sec 2E4 - Part 2

I have seen sparks of determination in some of you who are focussed, have matured, made plans for yourself and are working towards them even if the going proves to be challenging.

However, at the other end of the spectrum, i have seen some of you who have started to shrivel like a deflated bal...loon, losing direction, and deceiving yourself and your loved ones by making empty promises that are rarely put into action.

I have faith in EVERYONE in 2E4. All of you have the intellectual capacity. That is undeniable. But before results can be seen, your mental strength must thrive. You have to weigh the importance of all the aspects of your life and recognize that your studies would require at least 75% of your attention. Once that is achieved, everything else will naturally fall into place for you.

Let us all work towards our common goal of "Checkmating" anything that obstructs our path!

Pls prepare for the mid year examinations and the upcoming examinations as this will be a crucial year for us!!!
WE will need to buck up and be more focused and concentrate on studying hard
